We are delighted and privileged to be able to host a unique event that will commemorate the seven Doncaster soldiers who earned the highest award for valour - The Victoria Cross. As a town Doncaster holds the highest number of VCs and our commemorative event - Doncaster for Valour will celebrate this most prestigious honour at the Corn Exchange on Tuesday 10th November 2026 - The Eve of Remembrance. The event will be open to the public free of charge from 10am until 4.45pm with displays of VC, WW1 and WW2

The Victoria Cross Trust is a small Doncaster based charity that restores and maintains the graves and memorials Victoria Cross recipients. The Victoria Cross Trust (VCT) is marking Armistice Day at Lakeside Village for the first time. The Victoria Cross Trust Charity is celebrating a successful year at Lakeside Village Shopping Outlet, with both donations and general awareness having gone up.
