‘Crafty Nook’ Enterprise Shop unveiled at Communication Specialist College Doncaster
The Crafty Nook, housed within the Warde Aldam Centre at CSCD – part of Doncaster Deaf Trust - has been purpose-built by combining and renovating two changing rooms at the site, to provide students with additional opportunities to learn new creative and enterprise skills.Joinery students at the college played a key role in the shop’s creation, assisting with the store’s design as well as sanding and painting wood to make shelving, while CSCD enterprise students and staff have helped with stocking the store,

Pupils and students at Doncaster School for the Deaf and Communication Specialist College Doncaster have a new purpose-built music room thanks to a generous donation to Doncaster Deaf Trust from OneCall Insurance.
