What the Latest FCDO Travel Advice Means for Your Middle East Holiday Plans

If you've been putting off booking a trip to Dubai, Jordan, or anywhere else in the Middle East, there's some genuinely positive news, the travel picture is looking much brighter than it did just a few months ago.

Earlier this year, the FCDO advised against all but essential travel to a number of countries across the region, and some UK airlines paused their flight programmes altogether. It was, understandably, a worrying time for anyone with holidays booked or plans in the pipeline.

Fast forward to now, and destinations including the UAE, Dubai, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman are increasingly sitting in safer, lower-risk categories, with aviation connectivity largely restored. The FCDO has removed its warning against all but essential travel to the UAE, a big step in the right direction.

Worth knowing though? The situation remains fluid, and the FCDO is clear that advice can change quickly depending on events on the ground. So it's more important than ever to book with someone who's keeping a close eye on things for you.

That's exactly what I do. Whether you're dreaming of Dubai, planning a trip that transits through the Gulf, or just want to talk through your options, I'm here to help you book with confidence.
