Craig Parkinson Expands Visible Learning Impact to Romania

Craig Parkinson, a distinguished consultant for Visible Learning Plus, has recently partnered with two schools in Romania—one in Bucharest and another in Suceava. These schools are embarking on transformative Visible Learning journeys under Craig’s expert guidance.

The initiative, brought together through a collaborative effort by Corwin, Osiris Educational, the internationally renowned researcher John Hattie, and educational leader Liliana Romaniuc, marks a significant step in enhancing educational outcomes in Romania. Over the next three years, these schools will focus on cultivating and measuring their impact on students’ learning, striving for evidence-based teaching strategies that empower both educators and learners.

Reflecting on the start of this journey, Mihaela Stafiescu, Principal of “Step by Step School” in Bucharest, said:

As part of this project, Craig will also guide school leaders to uncover their CliftonStrengths, helping them to maximize their impact within their schools. By identifying and leveraging their unique strengths, these leaders will be empowered to drive meaningful change and inspire their teams to create a stronger learning culture.

Craig has been involved in Visible Learning consultancy work since 2012, working with schools across the UK, the UAE, and beyond to implement evidence-based strategies that improve teaching and learning. Reflecting on his work, Craig shared, “It’s a privilege to support schools in Romania as they begin their Visible Learning journeys. By combining the Visible Learning framework with CliftonStrengths coaching, we are setting the foundation for lasting improvements in student achievement and leadership development.”
