At The Rainbow Care Group Doncaster, we are passionate about supporting people living with dementia to continue enjoying meaningful, fulfilling lives while providing families and carers with the reassurance and support they deserve.
We are excited to be expanding our specialist Dementia Day Services across Doncaster, with welcoming community venues in Wheatley, Edenthorpe and Mexborough. As we continue to grow, our ambition is to bring these services to even more communities, making high-quality dementia support accessible closer to home.
Our Dementia Day Services are built around the individual. Every member receives personalised, person-centred support from our experienced dementia care specialists in a safe, welcoming environment where they can socialise, build friendships and take part in activities tailored to their interests, abilities and preferences. Whether it is enjoying music, reminiscing, getting creative, gentle exercise or simply spending time with others, every day is designed to be meaningful, engaging and enjoyable.
Our day clubs operate Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with each community venue running on its own dedicated day. Over the coming days, we will be introducing each location and sharing more about what makes every club so special.
Our services also provide invaluable respite for family members and carers, giving them time to work, rest or recharge with complete peace of mind, knowing their loved one is receiving compassionate, professional support.
As fellow members of the Doncaster Chamber community, we are looking forward to building new relationships with local businesses, healthcare professionals and community organisations who share our commitment to improving lives across Doncaster. If your organisation supports older people, works with unpaid carers, or simply wants to learn more about dementia-friendly services in our community, we would love to connect.
