About Us

The Rainbow Care Group provides community-based Dementia Day Services across Doncaster, supporting people living with dementia through meaningful activities, companionship and specialist person-centred care.

Moving away from clinical settings, our clubs are hosted in welcoming, accessible community venues where members can feel safe, included and connected. We provide a supportive environment focused on social interaction, cognitive stimulation and activities tailored to individual interests and abilities.

Our experienced dementia care team supports members in maintaining independence, confidence and wellbeing through compassionate, personalised care. Activities include reminiscence, gentle exercise, arts and crafts, music, quizzes, games and shared meals.

Our Dementia Day Services are available for people who have received a diagnosis of dementia and would benefit from additional support, friendship and meaningful engagement during the day.

We also provide families and carers with valuable respite and peace of mind, knowing their loved one is supported in a safe and friendly environment by a team that understands dementia care.

Launching this September, our first Dementia Day Clubs will be based in Mexborough, Wheatley and Edenthorpe. We will soon reveal the community venues we have secured in each area, together with opening dates and booking information. Early enquiries are welcome.
