Celebrating the Summer in Style

The team at MultiWebMarketing came together for an afternoon of fun and games in the sun, with their very own summer festival. 

It’s not unusual to see the team running into the weekend in style. In fact, you can usually find them gathering for a team quiz in the office on a Friday afternoon as they put their collective wit to the test at the end of a hard week’s work.

But last Friday, they took their team bonding to another level, with Founder Paul Smith opening the doors to his home and garden for the very first MultiWebMarketing summer festival.

It was a chance for the team to log off early, stick on their out-of-office messages and get stuck into some good old-fashioned fun.

“We tried to keep it feeling very like festival vibes,” explained Head of Social Media and Marketing Hayley Leeming, who was the mastermind behind the event.

"We’ve been celebrating the 10-year anniversary across 2023, and this was a fantastic opportunity to bring the team together away from the office to mark the occasion.”

Included in the frivolities were a selection of lawn games, such as adult space hoppers and a limbo stick provided by Yorkshire Games Hire, a chance to enjoy mojitos and espresso martinis provided by a local mixologist Twisted Mojito, some tasty food and even a birthday branded cake in the MultiWebMarketing colours.

There were festival flags and bunting on display too – plus a game of beer pong hosted later into the evening.

“Bringing the team together away from work forms a big part of our culture,” said Hayley. “We love to be together and work really collaboratively in the office despite working across a couple of floors – this was a chance to get together as one big team.”
