Emma Harrison, who has recently been promoted to Managing Director of Whyy? Change shared her development journey: “In July 2019, I joined Whyy? Change as their Governance Officer. At the time there wasn’t an apprenticeship standard suited to my role or future ambitions. So, when the Quality Practitioner apprenticeship was launched, in January 2021, I jumped at the opportunity to start it. Since starting my apprenticeship I’ve received Glu Recruit’s highly commended Office Hero award and successfully achieved CIPD study centre status for Whyy?.

"In April 2021, I was promoted from Governance Officer to Director of Governance, having been recognised by Ray, the CEO as someone leads from the front as a role model who shows willingness to enhance my qualifications through an apprenticeship.”
