Introducing SafeSite Companion

At SafeSite Technologies Ltd, we are currently developing SafeSite Companion – a digital platform designed to support traffic management and construction teams working on site.

The idea came from our own experience within the industry. After speaking with a number of traffic management companies, one thing became clear — operatives are regularly calling supervisors throughout the day to check guidance.

These are often routine questions, but across multiple sites and teams, they take up a significant amount of time and can impact efficiency on site.

With SafeSite Companion, our aim is simple. We want to give operatives quick access to recognised industry guidance directly from their phone, helping them make informed decisions while working on site without needing to contact the office.

At the same time, we are building the platform to support companies as well, by capturing the types of questions being asked across teams, we can provide insight into where additional training or support may be needed.

This allows companies to better understand what’s happening across their workforce and take a more proactive approach to training and development.

As members of the Doncaster Chamber, we are proud to be developing a solution locally that we believe can support the wider industry and help modernise how guidance is accessed on site.

The app is currently in development and we are preparing for launch, with early interest already coming from companies looking to improve efficiency and better support their teams.
