South Yorkshire Charities come together for Christmas Fundraiser Event

Doncaster Mind, Sheffield Mind and Rotherham/Barnsley Mind have all collaborated in order to host a Festive Mental Elf 5k Fun Run at Rother Valley Country Park on 1st December 2024.

They expect this to be a big event with lots of promotion around South Yorkshire. The first of its kind in the area. The reason for them doing this is to increase the awareness of these 3 local charities, provide an activity that will improve mental health and to fundraise to keep these amazing charities running and able to continue to help people in their local areas.

In order to make Mental Elf Fun Run a success, the 3 South Yorkshire Minds are looking for a business that is passionate about the mental health of our community to be a main sponsor for the event! This will enable the 5k run to be a success in terms of covering costs and raising enough money for it to make a difference to the people in the South Yorkshire communities.

In return for the sponsorship, Doncaster Mind are offering the following:
Main event sponsor - £5,000  

• Company logo to appear on all event promotion including all three organisations website, social media, leaflets, press releases, staff email signatures (which can also be used by your staff) and medal lanyards.  
• Quotes from your organisation within website news articles and press releases.  
• Quotes can also be provided by the three local mind associations for any PR you wish to do around your sponsorship.  
• Signage at the event that you provide.
• Option to include marketing materials within the participant goody bag.  
• Dedicated social media posts thanking your organisation for its support.  
• Mentions of your support during the day through the PA system.  
• 1 free team ticket for up to 5 people.
• Half-price entry to the 5km race for up to ten employees.
