Senior Partner Celebrates 20 Years at HSR LAW

Andrew Best, Senior Partner and Head of Corporate and Commercial at HSR LAW, is celebrating 20 years with the firm.
Andrew, who lives in Wadworth, joined HSR LAW in 2002. He was named Partner at the firm in 2005 and became Senior Partner in 2020.
Andrew said: “I am so proud to be celebrating 20 years at HSR LAW. I was brought in to develop the commercial arm of the firm and over the past two decades we have created a really strong team who are dedicated to supporting our commercial clients.
“We’ve recently opened our fourth office giving us a presence in Doncaster, Epworth, Gainsborough and now Mexborough and have seen the firm grow to now employ a team of 60.
“I’ve been involved with some great deals during my time with HSR LAW, from selling an engineering company in Stockholm to locally overseeing the sale of the Pastures Lodge and Hotel.
“I’ve also learned a great deal over the past 20 years. I’ve learned that listening, and here I mean really listening, is key to doing a good job. Being able to delegate well and trusting people is a real skill and the people who do best are the people who are willing to learn. There is always something to learn, and no one knows it all.”
Andrew became a partner at HSR LAW aged just 30 years old and Senior Partner at 45.
“HSR LAW is a great place to work, and our low attrition rate is testament to that. We’ve got a great team, invest in our people, and have fantastic clients.
“The last twenty years have flown by and I’m really looking forward to seeing the firm continue to grow and develop and our talented team continue to deliver fantastic deals.”
Fabian Braithwaite, managing partner at HSR LAW, said: “We are all proud of what Andrew has achieved. He has built a phenomenal commercial team who are delivering great results for clients across the UK. Having a strong commercial team makes HSR Law stand out among the more traditional high street firms.
“He is a real asset to the firm and continues to help our new talent to learn and thrive thanks to his dedication and drive.”
