Doncaster-based web firm helps international JCB franchise achieve online boost

A franchise of the internationally recognised brand JCB has turned to a Yorkshire web company to give its online sales a much-needed boost.

MultiWebMarketing – based in Askern – was asked to put its online expertise into practice with the design and build of a new website for JCB Contractor & Landscaping.

The project had a brief to create a modern website which would be easy to navigate, transact on and entice customers to make online purchases.

“It was an exciting project to be involved as it is for such a large global company and shows we can deliver solutions for all sizes of business,” said Operations Director Adrian Blatherwick.

“Our client was keen to ensure the website was optimised for smartphones, with an e-commerce offering able to seamlessly convert sales enquiries.”

JCB Contractor & Landscaping specialises in the supply of trade tools such as forks, shovels and spades to the construction industry and handy home DIYers.

The web project was delivered across an eight-week window and involved content creation, visual design and optimisation work, to help the website rank highly on Google searches. Top of the priority list for the client was visual impact and SEO effectiveness.

A six-strong technical and creative team at MultiWebMarketing responsible for delivering the project also had to ensure the website followed JCB’s brand guidelines, which was a challenge they were only too keen to take on.
Adrian added: “It’s always great to work with renowned brands such as JCB.”
