Team Hydrogen raises £4,000 for Sands

Following a busy year of fundraising for Sands Baby Loss Awareness charity in 2024 and after double-checking the amount raised, we finally got to hand over the cheque last week.

Kate Timms, Bridie Haxby and Nigel Dennis presented the cheque for a significant £4,000 to Chloe Brunton-Dunn, a sum that will undoubtedly make a meaningful impact.

Kate Timms, QHSE Engineer, said, 'The CPH2 team got on board last year with fundraising events. From numerous bake-offs to sleep-outs and the 50k steps in the May challenge, we are extremely proud to have raised such a large amount. But the icing on the cake was hashtag#TeamHydrogen running the Manchester Half Marathon and raising nearly £2,500.'

For over 40 years, Sands has offered support for anyone affected by pregnancy and baby loss to offer understanding and comfort through its helpline, online community and resources, and locally through a UK-wide network of around 100 regional support groups.
