HMP Moorland hosts Construction Engagement Event in collaboration with Willmott Dixon

On 11^th June 2026, HMP Moorland hosted a Construction Engagement Event in collaboration with Willmott Dixon, aimed at connecting motivated individuals within the prison population to learn more about the world of construction, CV’s and basic interview skills.  

The session was attended by 30 prisoners that are due for release within the coming months and wanting to engage in employment following release. The event was engaging with lots of interaction and plenty of questions!

The success of these types of events at Moorland sets a strong precedent for future collaborations, reinforcing the message that second chances can build stronger communities and a stronger workforce.
