DRFC Careers Day 2025 – Supporting Young Futures! 

Yesterday, Treo Recruitment had the privilege of attending and supporting the Doncaster Rovers Academy at their 2nd Annual Careers Day as its sponsor, and what an inspiring day it was! 

A special mention to Jay McGrath, Jonathan Barden , and Kofi Josephs, who shared powerful personal stories that really resonated with the players and demonstrated the power of perseverance and resilience. Expertly supported and presented through Liam Loftus, their experiences highlighted just how many exciting opportunities are out there beyond football. 

We were also joined by six fantastic local clubs, Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, Mansfield Town Football Club, Lincoln City FC, Burton Albion Football Club, Barnsley FC and Harrogate Town AFC.

The event was all about providing young players with a clear view of future career pathways, whether in football or beyond. At Treo, we’re passionate about creating opportunities and getting involved, whether that’s on the pitch or in the workplace.

Huge credit to Greg Carroll, Stuart Swift, and the entire Doncaster Rovers Academy team for their dedication to player development, both on and off the pitch. The knowledge, experience, and genuine care in the room yesterday was inspiring to witness and we took many learnings from the event.
