More Award Recognition for Agemaspark Apprentices

Agemaspark is delighted to announce that Workshop Managers Paul Preskey and Sam Buxton have been shortlisted for the Higher Apprentice of the Year category at the South Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards 2026.

The prestigious regional awards celebrate outstanding apprentices, employers and training providers who are shaping the future of industry across South Yorkshire. Now firmly established as a flagship event in the apprenticeship calendar, the awards recognise excellence across 14 categories and attract hundreds of attendees from across the region.

The winners will be announced at a gala ceremony on Thursday 21st May 2026 at Sheffield United Football Club, bringing together apprentices, businesses and training providers to celebrate success across the sector.

Both Paul Preskey and Sam Buxton have been recognised for their exceptional development through the Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager apprenticeship, alongside their growing leadership roles within Agemaspark.
Paul Preskey has delivered significant operational and strategic impact, introducing structured KPIs, embedding continuous improvement processes and playing a key role in being granted Fit For Nuclear status, positioning the business for growth in high-integrity sectors.

Sam Buxton has demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to organisational development, strengthening quality systems, supporting the achievement of Fit For Nuclear status, Cyber Essentials, enhancing ISO 9001 processes and driving improvements in team performance, communication and operational governance.
