Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to announce the return of the Manufacturing Charity Ball 2026, taking place on Friday 13th November at Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham.
Following an incredible debut that raised over £50,000, this event is fast becoming one of the most anticipated dates in the UK manufacturing calendar. We can’t wait to make 2026 even bigger and better.
Designed specifically for manufacturers and engineering businesses, the evening is all about bringing our industry together. It is an opportunity to create meaningful connections, strengthen relationships and raise vital funds for two incredible charities.
No long speeches. No formal awards. Just a high-quality, memorable experience with real impact.
Why the Manufacturing Charity Ball Matters
For us, the Manufacturing Charity Ball is about more than just one evening. It represents the strength, generosity and unity of the manufacturing community.
Last year, we welcomed over 300 attendees from more than 30 manufacturing businesses. The response was clear. There is a real appetite for an event that combines networking with purpose.
This year, we are aiming to grow attendance by at least 25%, creating an even stronger platform for collaboration, visibility and fundraising.
John Bohan, Commercial Director at Elevation, says:
“Last year gave us a real glimpse of what this industry is capable of when it comes together. The level of support, generosity and genuine engagement was something that stuck with us. It showed not just the scale of the manufacturing community, but the strength of it. This year is about building on that momentum, bringing even more people together and continuing to support causes that matter to so many.”
Industry Support Is Already Building
We have already seen fantastic early momentum, with 20 manufacturers confirmed ahead of the official launch.
Businesses supporting the event include: AMG, BLE, Chesterfield Special Cylinders, Cooper Turner Beck, Distinction Doors, ITI Group, Nelipak, Pandrol UK, Radius Aerospace, SteelPhalt, Thetford, United Cast Bar, BAE, CMD, Jeld-Wen, OSL, Howmet, Rotabroach and Paralloy, with more continuing to join.
We are also delighted that Forged Solutions Group will be returning as our drinks reception sponsor, continuing their valued support.
Ben McIvor commented:
“We saw first-hand last year the impact this event can have, not just in terms of fundraising but in bringing the manufacturing community together. It is something we are proud to support again, and we are looking forward to welcoming guests and helping set the tone for what promises to be another fantastic evening.”

Why Magna Is the Perfect Setting
Hosting the event at the Magna Science Adventure Centre allows us to celebrate manufacturing in a venue that truly reflects the industry.
Set within a former steelworks, Magna offers a unique backdrop that connects directly to the heritage of UK manufacturing, while providing the scale and atmosphere needed for a standout evening.
Its location in Rotherham also makes it accessible for businesses travelling from across Yorkshire, the Midlands, and surrounding regions, which is key for a regional manufacturing event of this size.
Supporting Two Incredible Charities
The Manufacturing Charity Ball 2026 will support both Weston Park Cancer Charity and Create A Dream Foundation.
Weston Park Cancer Charity delivers vital support for people living with cancer and their families. This includes funding treatment, providing emotional support, and investing in research that improves outcomes.
Create A Dream Foundation focuses on creating life changing experiences for children with serious illnesses. The charity works closely with families to deliver meaningful moments that offer relief and positivity during difficult times.
Create A Dream Foundation said: “Events like the Manufacturing Charity Ball help us continue our purpose of creating dream like experiences for seriously and terminally ill children and their families. Every pound raised helps us turn dreams into reality and bring moments & memories of happiness, hope, and togetherness during incredibly difficult times. We are so grateful to the manufacturing community for coming together to support both charities and help us continue making dreams come true.”
What to Expect at the Ball
We have designed the evening to balance high-quality hospitality with a relaxed and social atmosphere.
Guests can look forward to:
- Drinks reception with canapés
- Three-course dinner
- Live entertainment throughout the evening
- Charity auction and raffle
- Networking with leaders across the manufacturing and engineering sector
This creates an environment where conversations happen naturally, making it valuable for both relationship building and brand visibility.
Building Something Bigger Together
The Manufacturing Charity Ball is quickly growing into a flagship industry event, and we are incredibly proud of what it represents.
As Andy Bath, Managing Director at Elevation says:
“We’re immensely proud of the success of last year’s event and the impact it had, not just in terms of the funds raised but the way the manufacturing community came together to support it. Bringing the industry together in this way creates something that goes beyond a typical event. It’s an opportunity to use that collective strength to support charities doing important work every day, while also strengthening connections across the businesses involved.”
