Local Care Company Signs Up to ‘Proactive’ Wellbeing Support for Staff

EmpowerPlan Ltd is a new wellbeing provider with a very unique service that has recently launched to improve employee health, wellbeing and performance.

Staff have access to free therapy and can choose standard counselling support, or opt for something a little different with Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT). The latter is an innovative and critically-acclaimed therapeutic approach providing effective results in as little as 1-3 sessions. So many care workers are suffering from fatigue, exhaustion and “burn out” and the wellbeing of staff in the health and social care sector is at significant risk.

Home Instead Retford and Gainsborough took the decision to put additional measures in place to support their employee wellbeing needs, on top of their existing offerings. Home Instead Retford were drawn to the range and selection of the self-help resources, and distinctiveness of the services EmpowerPlan could provide.

Speaking about this, Vicky Waring, the Director of Home Instead, said: “EmpowerPlan is a proactive service provider, rather than a re-active one. Which is what we need.  We need to prevent things becoming an issue and support employees sooner.”
There are a number of things that make EmpowerPlan stand out as a service provider, but the main difference is the use of Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) as a therapeutic option rather than just standard counselling services. Using RTT within their free on-site workshops gives immense value to the service and creates a bigger impact on the wellbeing of the employees.

Waring continued: “We signed up to EmpowerPlan to prevent staff getting to a point of crisis intervention, by making use of the extensive self-help resources available including the RTT webinars and therapy worksheets.”
The membership area is simple to navigate and hosts a library of resources, which is updated each week with new content to keep users coming back to the platform regularly.  There are selections of fitness workouts, meditation and hypnosis audios, therapy and life coaching worksheets along with diet plans and recipes.  It really is a gold mine of wellbeing resources.
To top it off, the site provides a selection of holistic therapists and fitness instructors that users can book with at an additional cost, should they want a more holistic approach to their wellbeing and one to one support with their fitness regime.
