Hillway Appoints Jamie Smyth MRICS as Director and Welcomes Apprentice Surveyor Alex Brazier
Hillway, the RICS-regulated commercial property consultancy and strategic technology partner to the property industry, has announced the appointment of Jamie Smyth MRICS as Director, heading up Hillway Digital, the firm's division dedicated to digital transformation, AI, and PropTech.
Jamie is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years' experience spanning property investment, development, and asset management. He has built and scaled a privately funded property portfolio and multiple operating businesses across South Yorkshire, alongside governance and Non-Executive Director roles.
In his new role, Jamie will lead the growth of Hillway Digital, helping property businesses evaluate, adopt, and get the most from technology, and where the right solution doesn't exist, designing and building it.

Alongside Jamie's appointment, Hillway has also welcomed Alex Brazier as an Apprentice Surveyor. Alex joins the firm while undertaking his MSc in Chartered Surveying at the University College of Estate Management (UCEM), and will work across the business gaining hands-on experience from both Hillway's property services and Hillway Digital teams as he works towards becoming a chartered surveyor.
