Hello to our amazing, local business community!
 
This year, Yorkshire Adoption Agency celebrates its 80th birthday — eight decades of helping children find safe, loving and permanent homes.
 
As a small, independent charity, founded by Doncaster community members, we’re inviting you to join us in supporting our celebrations of this milestone.
 
How you can help
Donate towards our 80^th celebration events. Donations towards our family celebration and art project for;

• Decorations
• Food
• Venue space
• Celebration cake
• Art materials

Even a small donation can make a huge difference!

Donations can also support our regular family activity days and ongoing services for our children;

• Children’s parties – adopted children spending time together really supports them to have a positive sense of identity.
• Older children support group activities
• Practical support for families – this could be books, sensory or concentration tools

Could you offer skills, training, or professional expertise to our team and families? This could look like;

Marketing support

• Video production
• Printing materials
• Digital support

 Staff training

• Neurodiversity in the workplace, Working with multi-generational’s, Cyber security, Communicating to influence, Critical thinking techniques, Wellbeing in the workplace.

Adopter training

• Child first aid, supporting children with additional needs, navigating education and child health services.

Adopter Recruitment events

• Do you attend or host any events that we may be able to contribute to, or you think may be of use to us.
