Do you know someone who deserves national recognition for the difference they make?
The UK Honours system celebrates individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to business, their profession or their community. Nominations are now open, and we'd encourage our members to put forward deserving individuals who are making a real impact.
Whether it's someone who has transformed a business, championed their industry, supported their local community or gone above and beyond in their role, this is an opportunity to recognise their achievements on a national stage.
What makes a strong nomination?
* Clear evidence of impact and achievement.
* Examples of going above and beyond what would normally be expected in their role.
* Tangible benefits delivered to others, whether economic, social or community-focused.
* Supporting evidence or endorsements from people who can speak to the nominee's contribution.
Remember, if someone isn't nominated, they can't be considered for an honour.
The Department for Business and Trade is keen to ensure the Honours system reflects the full breadth of the UK's business community and welcomes nominations from all sectors and backgrounds. If you're considering nominating someone but aren't sure where to start, the DBT Honours Team can provide guidance and support throughout the process.
**Deadline for nominations: 28 August 2026.**
Let's help ensure the outstanding people making a difference across our business community receive the recognition they deserve.
