Get ready for summer fun at Aqua Park Doncaster!

Aqua Park Doncaster, the star attraction at Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre, is now open for the summer season!

The Aqua Park, along with all other outdoor activities at the centre - including canoeing, paddleboarding, climbing wall, archery, axe throwing, and open water swimming in the Natural Lake Pool - is open on weekends until the school summer holidays.

The floating inflatable Aqua Park challenges visitors to slide, climb and make a splash on an obstacle course featuring climbing walls, slides and runways.

And new for this year are helix balls, inflatable spheres that visitors must navigate around the obstacle course, testing your balance and coordination.

Keith Riley, manager at Aqua Park Doncaster, said: “We’re so excited to be open once again welcoming thrill-seekers, young and old, who are looking for fun and adventure! The Aqua Park is bigger than ever this year with some exciting new sections, most notably the helix balls.

“All activities - on the lake, on the land, and in the Aqua Park - offer a wonderful range of options, and our website is open now for bookings. While we of course welcome walk ups, you are not guaranteed to get the time you would like, and our online booking always offers the best price.”

Sessions for the Aquapark last 60 minutes, including a 10-minute compulsory safety briefing. The price is £23 when booked online in advance and £25 for on-site bookings on the day. Wetsuits and buoyancy aids are provided free of charge.

Participants must be over the age of seven, able to swim, and at least 122cm tall. Children aged seven to nine must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Free on-site parking is available.

Hatfield Outdoor Activity Park, managed by Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust, is only a 20-minute drive from the centre of Doncaster. There are also regular buses from the city centre via numbers 388 and 385.

Its friendly campsite opened in late March and guests can enjoy the beautiful surroundings with the café bar open for food and drink.

The campsite costs £37.50 per pitch per night, with a minimum stay of two nights, and what’s more, campers get special discounts for all the onsite activities.
