ewheelers Ltd are delighted to launch a brand new initiative hoped to reach likeminded businesses, and help them become green.
On a mission to help Doncaster get fit and reduce their carbon footprint, an exciting new initiative has sprung – The Green & Wellbeing Cycle Scheme. The initiative is targeting organisations that have environmental sustainability and employee’s health and mental wellbeing at the forefront of their agenda, and focuses on improving the environment and encouraging active travel.
The scheme offers businesses in Doncaster an opportunity to learn a little more their own carbon footprint, and teach them how to reduce it while also promoting health, wellbeing, and active travel through the provision of hybrid e-bikes and award-winning training over a period of 24 months. Participating companies can rent 10 e-bikes, secure storage with racking and electric charging points, comprehensive maintenance, cycling and road safety coaching, guides on safer routes to work, and additional on-line support; all of which is underpinned by an executive evaluation and impact report and a dedicated Account Manager.
Director, Steve Mundin said “We are delighted to join Doncaster Chamber as a member, we can’t wait to work with the 800 businesses involved and help them become more aware of their environmental sustainability, and also their health as they work long hours.”
