Doncaster Chamber appoints new board members

Formally announced at the Doncaster Chamber AGM, Doncaster Chamber is pleased to appoint So Him Fong, Director of Kingasia Food Ltd and Mark Pepper, CEO of Carlton Forest Group as new Board members.

“We are delighted to welcome So Him Fong and Mark Pepper, two talented businesspeople, to the board” said Chamber President, Jill Wood. “Both bring with them a wealth of experience from long and distinguished careers. We are delighted they are joining us at such a vital time for Doncaster business and look forward to working closely with them in the months and years ahead.

“We had a great deal of interest in the positions so would like to thank everyone who applied. It was fantastic to see the response from the local business community. These are unpaid, voluntary roles, where people give up their time for the benefit of chamber members and the broader business community. 2021 will bring many challenges for Doncaster and the economy with the Chamber playing a key role in supporting businesses through tough times. It is therefore fantastic news that we have today been able to further strengthen our non-executive leadership to ensure that Doncaster has as impactful Chamber as possible.”

The Chamber’s board is elected by Doncaster Chamber members and serve to ensure the Chamber achieves its strategic objectives and that the voice of its members is represented at the highest level. The board also includes co-opted members that can contribute additional experience and expertise, and also enhance the Chamber’s relationship with key partner organisations.
