Doncaster businesses offered free big-screen advertising at the 250th St Leger Festival

A new local business club is offering Doncaster firms the chance to have their advert shown on the big screens at Doncaster Racecourse during the 250th running of the Betfred St Leger Festival - at no cost.
Club 1776 Doncaster launches this month, inviting around 1,000 businesses across the town and wider South Yorkshire area. Businesses that register will be entered into selection for a free advertisement on the racecourse's big screens during the festival, which runs from 10–13 September 2026.
The club takes its name from 1776, the year the Betfred St Leger was first run. It is now the oldest of Britain's five Classic races and is celebrating its 250th anniversary this year.
Alongside the advertising offer, Club 1776 is a business networking membership club running in partnership with Arena Racing Company, which owns and operates Doncaster Racecourse. Membership is free for the first 12 months and is capped at 250 founding members. Members get a minimum of four networking events per year at the racecourse, plus big-screen advertising as a member benefit.
The first 50 businesses to join form the club's "Founding 50", who are prioritised for premium screen slots during the St Leger Festival itself.

How it works

Registration takes a couple of minutes at https://www.doncaster-racecourse.co.uk/racing-highlights/st-leger-network-club. To qualify for entry into the big-screen advert selection, businesses need to publish one social media post supporting the 250th St Leger Festival — a shareable graphic is provided upon registration. There is no cost, no membership fee for the first year, and no obligation to renew.
Screen slots are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. Registrations close on Friday 2nd September.
