Agemaspark is proud to announce that its Managing Director, Paul Stockhill, has been nominated for the GREAT100 Awards by Made in Yorkshire, recognising his exceptional leadership in engineering, commitment to skills development, and dedication to driving innovation across the manufacturing sector.
Paul’s nomination highlights a career defined not just by business success, but by a deep and personal investment in the future of UK manufacturing. Under his direction, Agemaspark, an advanced engineering SME based in Doncaster, has built a powerful, practical talent pipeline, working closely with schools, Doncaster UTC, the AMRC Training Centre, and universities to inspire and develop the next generation of engineers.
Investing in the Future of Skills
Paul’s impact on skills development speaks for itself:
- 32 students welcomed for work experience
- 45 days of T-Level placements delivered to support technical learning
- Over 100 Year 9 students engaged in hands-on engineering projects
- Participation in 10+ post-16 careers events
- Personal mentorship of 10 students
- A remarkable 70% of the team is under 33, all trained via apprenticeships
Industry Leadership
Paul played a key role in bringing Doncaster UTC to life, helping secure its original bid and now serving as Vice Chair. He sits on the AMRC Industry Advisory Board, contributes to strategic conversations around future skills, is a long-term sponsor of the University of Sheffield’s Formula Student team, helping students translate engineering theory into real-world innovation.
Championing Innovation
Agemaspark’s pioneering work in 3D metal printing with conformal cooling technology is yet another example of Paul’s forward-thinking leadership. The company continues to invest in both cutting-edge processes and people, including leadership training at every level of the organisation.
Recognition
Paul’s influence hasn’t gone unnoticed as he was named in The Manufacturer Top 100 in 2021, was a recipient of the Doncaster Chamber Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023. In 2024, HRH The Princess Royal visited Agemaspark in recognition of its exceptional community and skills impact.
Paul Stockhill commented: "I’m deeply honoured to be nominated for the Made in Yorkshire GREAT100. This recognition reflects the collective effort of the Agemaspark team, and our ongoing mission to build a stronger, smarter, and more inclusive future for UK manufacturing."
