Agemaspark and Marketing for Engineering Sponsor Awards at STEM Racing UK National Finals 2026
Agemaspark and Marketing for Engineering are proud to have jointly sponsored two award categories at the STEM Racing UK National Finals, held at Magna Science Adventure Centre, Rotherham, from 24–26 March 2026.
The organisations sponsored the Sponsorship and Marketing Award – Professional Class and the Development Class, recognising excellence in branding, communication, and team progression within the competition.
The awards were presented to Team Atomic from Robert May’s School (Hampshire) and Team Carbonox from STEM Racing Thailand, celebrating outstanding performance on both a national and international stage.
Agemaspark designed and manufactured the trophies, demonstrating its precision engineering capabilities and commitment to supporting future talent. Managing Director Paul Stockhill attended the event to personally present the awards to the winning teams.
Paul Stockhill, Managing Director of Agemaspark, said:
“It was a privilege to be part of such an inspiring event and to present these awards to some incredibly talented young people. At Agemaspark, we are passionate about supporting initiatives that encourage innovation and engineering skills, and STEM Racing UK provides a fantastic platform for that.”
STEM Racing (formerly F1 in Schools) is a global STEM programme that introduces students aged 9–19 to engineering, science, and technology through the excitement of motorsport.
Working in teams, students take on real-world roles such as engineers, designers, and marketing managers to design, manufacture, and race miniature Formula One cars.
Using professional tools including CAD/CAM software and CNC machining, teams develop high-performance cars powered by cartridges filled with compressed air and race them on a track, while also producing portfolios, presentations, and sponsorship strategies.
The programme combines engineering, project management, branding, and communication, providing hands-on experience that mirrors real industry practice and helps inspire future careers in STEM.
With a presence in over 72 countries and more than 25 years of history, STEM Racing has become one of the world’s leading STEM education initiatives, designed to bring engineering to life and inspire the next generation.
Marketing for Engineering co-sponsored the trophies as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting skills development and promoting careers in engineering and manufacturing.
Jackie Cook, Director of Marketing for Engineering, said:
“I have been a lifelong Formula One fan, I am a STEM Ambassador and passionate about supporting and attracting skills into the engineering sector, so sponsoring these trophies seemed a perfect fit for our business.”
The STEM Racing UK National Finals bring together the country’s top-performing teams, who progress through regional competitions to compete at a national level, with the opportunity to advance to international finals.
By supporting the awards, both Agemaspark and Marketing for Engineering reinforce their shared commitment to developing future engineers, fostering innovation, and strengthening the UK’s engineering talent pipeline.
