Active Fusion announced as DonnyFest 2026 Charity Partner

Active Fusion is proud to announce a new charity partnership with DonnyFest, becoming the festival’s official charity partner for 2026.

The partnership brings together two organisations with a shared commitment to community, young people, and creating positive opportunities across Doncaster and the surrounding areas. DonnyFest has grown into one of the region’s most loved family-friendly music festivals, while Active Fusion has been supporting children and young people through sport, youth work, and community programmes since 2002.

Over the past two decades, Active Fusion has supported more than 100,000 young people, helping them build confidence, improve wellbeing, develop life skills, and access positive activities in safe and inclusive environments. The partnership with DonnyFest will help raise awareness of this work while generating vital support to sustain and expand local projects.

Lindsy James, Founder and Director of Active Fusion, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to be named as DonnyFest’s charity partner for 2026. DonnyFest’s strong connection to the local community and their commitment to creating positive experiences for families aligns perfectly with our values. This partnership will help us continue delivering projects that genuinely change lives for children and young people across Doncaster and beyond.”

As part of the partnership, festival-goers will have the opportunity to make optional donations when purchasing tickets via the DonnyFest website. Active Fusion will also be promoted across DonnyFest’s digital platforms and during the festival itself, with a dedicated presence on site where visitors can meet the team, learn more about local projects, and understand how their support makes a difference.

Andy O’Grady, Festival Director at DonnyFest, added:

“Active Fusion does incredible work supporting young people and families in our area. As a family-friendly festival rooted in the local community, partnering with a charity that shares our values feels like a natural fit. We’re excited to work together and support the important impact they create.”

The partnership is about more than fundraising. It aims to strengthen community connections, raise awareness of opportunities available to young people, and highlight the positive role that events, sport, and community programmes can play in improving wellbeing and life chances.

Active Fusion looks forward to working alongside DonnyFest throughout 2026 to create meaningful impact and lasting benefits for local children, young people, and families.
