About Us
Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) is a lifesaving charity providing rapid-response emergency care to the 5 million people living across Yorkshire’s 3 million acres. With two air support units based at Nostell near Wakefield and RAF Topcliffe near Thirsk, our helicopters can reach even the most remote locations within 20 minutes, bringing expert critical care to those who need it most.
As an independent charity, we rely almost entirely on public donations to keep our helicopters in the air.
