South Yorkshire Mayoral Hustings April 2022

In just a few months’ time, on Thursday 5^th May, South Yorkshire will elect a new Mayor who will take the lead on developing and growing the region’s economy; and acting as an ambassador in promoting South Yorkshire as a great place to live, work and invest.

The three South Yorkshire Chambers (Doncaster, Barnsley & Rotherham, and Sheffield) working alongside the CBI and FSB, would like to invite you to join us for a hustings event where you will be able to meet the candidates, hear more about their plans and priorities for the region, and question them directly on the real issues that matter to your business.

The candidates who will be participating in the hustings include:

• Clive Watkinson (Conservative Party)
• Oliver Coppard (Labour Party)
• Bex Whyman (Green Party)
• Simon Biltcliffe (Yorkshire Party)
• David Bettney (Social Democratic Party) 

Following directly after the event, there will be an opportunity for networking with fellow attendees from businesses across the region.
