Safeguarding Children training day

Description

This course introduces people to their personal and professional responsibilities for safeguarding children and young people.
It covers the four main categories of abuse:
physical,emotional, sexual abuse and neglect,
including how abuse may present through changes in behaviour, injuries, bruising and other signs and symptoms.
Candidates will learn to recognise potential non-accidental injuries, grooming, exploitation, neglect and online risks.

The course also covers responding appropriately to disclosures, recording and reporting concerns, professional boundaries, information sharing and safer working practices.
Through practical examples and scenarios, attendees will develop confidence in recognising concerns, responding appropriately and understanding that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.
