Military vs Cancer Hosts Armed Forces Day Rugby Triple Header at Castle Park
Doncaster-based charity Military vs Cancer, a proud Doncaster Chambers member, is calling on the local business community and wider public to support a major Armed Forces Day celebration taking place at Castle Park, Doncaster, on Saturday 4 July 2026.
The event will see UK Armed Forces RFC take on North of England Select XVs in a high-profile rugby league triple header, bringing together men’s senior, women’s senior and U20s fixtures for a full day of competitive sport, tribute and community engagement.
While corporate sponsorship plays a vital role in delivering the event, attendance is equally important. A strong crowd not only raises essential funds, but also demonstrates active public support for serving personnel, veterans and their families affected by cancer.
Military vs Cancer supports members of the Armed Forces community across the region who are facing the devastating impact of cancer, providing practical, emotional and financial support at the moments it is needed most.
