Local Opportunities Workshop

Week 3- Local Opportunities Workshop:
This 1 hour workshop will provide young people with the platform to engage with local employers who are looking to recruit high quality apprenticeship roles in the borough, take on Kickstart placements or are looking to recruit.

Employers will showcase their industry, career pathways, and provide the opportunity for each young person to undertake virtual workplace tours, speak to current and past apprenticeships about the schemes on offer and why key skills including attitude and behaviour are important.

These local employers may be different each time, and we will focus on sectors that have peaks in recruitment and are looking for roles over the forthcoming weeks and months. If we have multiple employers with opportunities then we will increase the number of Local Opportunities Workshops.
