Description
Suitable for managers, project leads or team leaders. Learn methods for motivating teams and leading projects to achieve targets and goals.
Thursday 11th March (9:00am-12:00pm) & Thursday 18th March (9:00am-12:00pm)
Attendance on both dates is required to complete the course.
Key content:
- Understanding the impact and value of using appropriate leadership styles in different situations and with different people to achieve workplace objectives and targets.
- What leaders need to know about employee motivation, perception, work ethics, reward and incentive approaches, and the impact of these on performance and potential of individuals and teams.
- Self-assessment and reflection on individual strengths and focus areas for personal development.
- Tips and techniques to reflect on a range of tools and methods available for team leaders to build high performing teams.
- Understanding barriers to team and individual commitment and engagement to achieving work objectives and targets.
Joining instructions and invoice for payment will be sent directly from Doncaster College. The online training session will be delivered via Microsoft Teams.

This is a 1 day course delivered as 2 x half day sessions (11th & 18th March 2021). You will automatically be booked onto session 2.
