With the end of the Transition Period with the EU, UK businesses now need to consider the new requirements for exporting post-Brexit.
This course will look at international documentation requirements and the importance of correctly completing them to avoid problems, delays and increased costs.
It will also touch on other areas of international trade to assist companies understanding of the global picture from an exporting perspective for shipping of goods internationally.

The course content will include:
Export Process
- An overview of the export process and how companies structure export functions.
Exporter Responsibilities
- An overview of HMRC role, customs entries, the information required, documentation retention and tariff codes
- An explanation of the importance of tariff and commodity codes
- A brief explanation of the new HMRC CDS replacing the current HMRC Chief system later this year.
Review of Export Documents
- A look at important export documents. These include invoices, packing lists, airway bills, bill of lading, insurance certificates, certificates of origin, EURI forms, proof of export and ATA Carnets
- Importance of the export invoice and origin statements.

- A brief summary of payment options.
