Come and enjoy the unique heritage and beautiful landscape of the Lindholme Hall Estate!
Take part in a peaceful Kora Walk around the estate, hear stories of the Island’s rich past in our Heritage Talk, and join the Kinship of Faiths Gathering as we hear from leaders of different faiths on their perspectives about humanity in modern times. There will also be a guided tour of historic Lindholme Hall, and plenty of time to meet new friends in our local community and relax with plenty of food and refreshments in our coach house café.
The day is about welcoming families and individuals of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy the tranquility of the estate, learn about the Islands unique past, and enjoy warm conversations with local community friends. Everyone is warmly welcome, whether you’d like to stay for the whole day or just drop in for part of it!
Programme

9am–5pm: Kora Walk
Explore the peaceful and remote island of Lindholme Hall, with trails from 100 yards to 3 miles. You’re free to join the walk at any time during the day. -
11am: Heritage Talk
From the discovery of a Neolithic trackway and stories of a sacred past, to the conservation of rare species on the Lindholme Old Moor — local historian and conservationist Mick Oliver will guide us through the fascinating heritage of this remarkable site. -
2-3pm: Interfaith Gathering
Faith leaders from different traditions will each give a short talk sharing ideas and reflections on life in the modern day, opening space for dialogue, inspiration and mutual understanding. - 10am–4pm: Guided Tours of Historic Lindholme Hall
Gain an insight into the weird and wonderful features and stories of historic Lindholme Hall with a fascinating tour of the main hall and rooms.

9am - 4pm: Café with Food and Refreshments
Our coach house café will be open all day with plenty of food and refreshments lovingly prepared by our volunteers.

All of our main facilities are wheelchair accessible. Whilst the full Kora walk is not wheelchair accessible, there are beautiful areas within the grounds that are. Please do not hesitate to get in touch in advance and we would be more than happy to share advice about the best routes for you.

Close to the M18 and M180 motorways.

Head for Hatfield Woodhouse (A614). In the village, take the first left into Remple Lane, then bear left onto Hollingbridge Road and follow the signs to Lindholme Hall.
By train/taxi:

This day is simply about coming together, spending time in a beautiful place, and enjoying each other’s company. It’s a lovely day out for families and anyone local, with plenty of chances to meet others from the community. You can walk the grounds, hear stories about the island’s history, join the interfaith gathering to listen and share ideas, look around the hall, or just relax in the café with good food and conversation. Whether you come for an hour or stay all day, you’ll be very welcome.
