Export Documentation - How and Why?

This full-day programme emphasises the significance of export documentation when trading internationally.

From laying the foundations that ensure an understanding of documentary requirements, we then follow the chronological journey of the export process and the documents involved - from enquiry through to successful delivery of the goods.  It is a practical programme that teaches attendees what the documents are, where to get them from, how to complete them, what to do with them - and (most significantly) WHY they are required.
The programme includes only real documents correctly completed by real exporting companies - and includes real case studies of how things can go wrong - and how to prevent that from happening. The programme teaches delegates how to avoid costly mistakes whilst ensuring full legal compliance.

• The official documents the exporter prepares - including export licences
• Certificates of Origin
• Preference documents including the EUR1
• Pre-shipment inspection
• Quality certification
• An overview of other product documentation needed by an importer/importing country
• Cargo insurance considerations

The programme finishes with a post-training "things to do list" and a final list of important tips and hints and reminders!

This programme runs from 9.00am until 4.30pm - with two 15-minute breaks (AM and PM) and a 30-minute lunch break.
