Chamber Digital Webinar sessions are NEW for Doncaster Chamber! They will enable you to hear from an expert in their field sharing best practice, knowledge and experience. During this period of uncertainty our aim is to keep businesses moving and talking.
Each session will comprise of 20 minutes from an expert speaker followed by an interactive Q&A where you will be able to ask the expert questions directly. There will be an opportunity to have further discussions with the expert after the session has finished.
Overview:
- What if we or our supplier can’t fulfill the contract?
- How do I avoid a costly dispute?
- Will there be a new way of doing business?
Speaker Bio:
Richard is a Partner at Knights plc in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team having joined from global giant CMS Cameron McKenna. He acts for both public and private sector clients in matters which are often complex, in the public-eye and often cross-border (including arbitration). He has a particular interest in the health, sport, leisure and infrastructure (especially rail) sectors. His practice includes public procurement disputes. Richard has extensive experience of mediation and is keen for his clients to avoid court proceedings if that’s possible. He qualified as a Solicitor Advocate in 2019 and was named in Legal 500 2019 as “Rising Star” and in 2018 as a "Next Generation Lawyer“ for Commercial Dispute Resolution.
