DESCRIPTION:An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Board of Directors.\n\n\n\nOn your behalf\, this group works to ensure that the Chamber is run effectively by providing leadership\, governance\, oversight and assurance.\n\n\n\nThey are elected by our members\, at which point they serve three years as non-executive directors (NEDs). Once that term comes to an end\, new candidates can put themselves forward for the voluntary role\, while the outgoing board members have a chance to seek re-election. Such is the case right now\, as there will soon be up to 2 new openings on the board. \n\n \n\nWho Is Eligible? \n\n\n\nAs long as you are already in a senior role at your company\, have experience of running a businesses\, and are a member of the Chamber\, then you are eligible to apply.\n\n\n\nIf you want to help us fulfil our ambitious\, achieve our strategic goals and amplify the voice of our members at the highest level\, then this is a great opportunity for you. \n\n\n\nIf prospective candidates would like to learn a bit more about what being on our Board entails\, we will be holding an information session on Microsoft Teams. Here\, candidates will have an opportunity to ask questions and discover if being on the board is right for them.
