DESCRIPTION:Our panel of guests hosted by Doncaster Chamber President\, Jill Wood will discuss resilience and success stories over the past 12 months. We will delve into the challenges that the pandemic has presented to them as individuals as well as their businesses and the exciting opportunities that have also arisen as a result. \n\n\n\nThe panel discussion will be split into 2 sections followed by an open Q&A on each\, we will have a 30 minute networking session between the two panel sets which will allow for some conversations in smaller groups whilst enjoying lunch together. \n\n\n\nSit back\, enjoy lunch delivered to your door* (office or home- Doncaster delivery only) and take part in an interactive discussion. \n\n\n\nPanel Guests \n\n\n\nLaura Hepburn Director of Greenology and Bare Bunnies \n\nWinner of Top 50 Engineers in Sustainability 2020\, Northern Power Women of the Future. Laura Hepburn is well versed in the art of blockbuster film and television production\, having worked on a number of big titles in recent years. Now though\, she's shining the spotlight on something entirely different environmental sustainability. As director of waste- to-energy firm Greenology\, Laura has created a set all of her own to turn plastic waste\, tyres and even wind turbine blades into power.\n\n\n\nEliza-May Austin - CEO of PocketSIEM\n\nEliza also co-founded th4ts3cur1ty.company\, a tech startup specialising in cyber defence through adversary emulation purple teaming and building corporate defences against cyber attack. Eliza is also the founder and Director of Ladies Hacking Society\, a not for profit organisation and the world's largest all female cybersecurity group.\n\n\n\nAdedolapo Agoro CEO Motherline Legal Services/Chair Doncaster Inclusion and Fairness Forum\n\nAdedolapo Agoro a dedicated leader and life coach is also the Senior Pastor of Merciful Centre\, a thriving Pentecostal church in Doncaster. She is also the CEO of Motherline Legal Services an immigration law firm\, My Godly Spouse Ltd an online Christian dating agency and BME United Doncaster a community organisation advocating for minorities right in UK. Dolly is the current Chair of the Inclusion & Fairness Forum a member of Team Doncaster and she presents The Wise Builders\, an online family weekly counselling session on social media. \n\n\n\nRachel Smith General Manager Polypipe Underfloor Heating Division \n\nRachel's first role within the construction sector was in the marketing discipline as Product Manager for a ductile iron pipe manufacturer. While some would have sought a career in a more glamorous industry\, a passion for building better and connecting with construction industry professionals helping to create sustainable buildings and infrastructure has kept Rachel within the construction sector. Roles within the Civils\, Building Products and Underfloor Heating Divisions of the Polypipe Group have seen Rachel develop her skills within the Built Environment\, focusing initially on Marketing and more latterly as General Manager of the Underfloor Heating Division. Away from her career\, being Mum to a 12 going on 21 year old daughter keeps Rachel on her toes. Finding time for friends and family is a priority and long walks with her Cavapoo Teddy are a daily enjoyment.\n\n\n\nKaren Beardsley - Managing Director Unipart Rail\n\nKaren Beardsley has worked for Unipart Rail for over 20 years and as Managing Director of Rail Operations she leads the logistics\, procurement and quality operations\; as well as the Business transformation activity. She has extensive experience in Supply Chain and Lean development and execution.\n\n \n\nLou Mycroft - Director Joyful Education\n\nLou Mycroft is a writer\, educator\, coach and public speaker\, with a background in adult education\, community work and public health. She was one of the inaugural TEDx Doncaster speakers and spent twenty years as a social purpose educator at The Northern College. She now works on national and local projects as a freelance 'nomad'. Lou's work is around the practice of values and in particular the practice of joy. At the very start of the first lockdown\, Lou co-founded the #JoyFE collective which shines light in the dark places of further and adult education\, through a monthly digital magazine\, broadcasts and the popular weekly Ideas Rooms. She is a Thinking Environment practitioner\, a disciplined process which brings voices in from the shadows and enables people to do their best thinking. Her work is increasingly concerned with opening up thinking spaces where people can build trust\, and community. Lou was awarded the EduFuturists Staff Wellbeing Champion Award in 2020.\n\n\n\nJude Chan Director of My Network for Women\n\nJude is the founder and Director of a social enterprise company based in Doncaster that supports and empowers women interested in starting and running their own business. Jude has a background in Finance\, starting her career in Accounts roles and has run businesses including restaurants and importing furniture from China. As a business owner\, there was a growing need to build key professional and life skills amongst an environment that encourages growth and development that inspired Jude to build a grassroots community organisation. My Network for Women started in 2015 and is a diverse network of female entrepreneurs from different backgrounds and industries. As well as her duties at My Network for Women\, she is currently pursuing an MBA at Cumbria University and looking after her two children\, 11 and 8 years old. \n\n\n\n*Only available if located in Doncaster.
