Come armed with information for them to take away on career opportunities within your sector and ready to answer questions which students will have had the time to think about prior to the event. We also ask for you to have an activity or mini workshop prepared for them to engage with. Encouraging students to think outside the box about potential career opportunities\, Careers Fairs take place within a school and can vary in length of time.\n\n\n\nWhy should I offer one? \n\nWhilst students may be aware of your industry\, they might not fully understand the different career paths they could take or the job opportunities available. Discussions with employers allows them to gain an insight in to how you got there and what they could do to follow in your footsteps. Helping to raise their aspirations and awareness of potential future careers whilst also being able to provide information that they can take home and discuss with their families.
